The brochure embedded below was the product of my own inquiry into the Professional Learning Cycle for teaching with all the stages of the cycle included: Planning, Implementing, Observing, and Reflecting. This inquiry afforded the opportunity for me to explore how authentic classroom dialogue with students helps to foster genuine curiosity in students, and consequently helps students start to build knowledge through their own inquiries.
Integrated Unit Mind-Map
Below is a mind-map I created while planning an integrated unit around the big ideas of patterns, variables, relationships, and evaluating. The concept of this idea was co-planned with both my mentor teacher and math course director as a creative way to look integrate two subjects that revealed themselves as 'natural fits.'
